Kem Qiadah Stories Part 4

Day 4 23/3
Woke up at 4am. Sylves they all hadn't come back yet. And I thought of something to do, FIX THE CAMP CRAFTS! I quickly get up and showered. Changed and packed up everything. Have my equipments all ready for today. Then off to Camp Kembayau with my roll of rope and pocket knife. I decided to do it alone cause I knew my group members were all exhausted and they had to pray. I fixed the camp crafts while watching sunrise, so cool~. Few AJK's and teachers passed by. They gave me the " waa, rajinnya " and I just smiled back =). Ruq was one of them, he came by and talked to me for a bit and took a picture of me fixing the stuff. AHAHA. Halfway fixing, I heard a coughing voice. Scared me kay. WTH?!. At first I thought I heard something. So I just ignored it and try not to think too much. But then I heard another sneezing voice again. "haapiiakkk!!" It was the guys sleeping in the tents. Nobody came to wake them up. So they woke up quite late. Looking at their blur faces and drowsy movements, I laughed. AHAHAHA. FUNNY AH! xDD. So yeah, I completed our flip fence/gate and added a 'cross' layer to our fences. HEHE.

By the time I finish fixing, everyone was walking towards the place for assembly at flag pole area. Yet another fun checkpoint activity. PBIO at Muara Beach!! Before we began the PBIO race, we had to draw + paint about KQ5. Almost had enough time to finish colouring. Gahh, so close. And my groupmate drew me in it? I mean, I'm not sure if it was me or not but it sure looked like me , a lot. AHAHA prasan x).

12 checkpoints but we only got to 9 checkpoints. But everything was really FUN! Bread hang on playground. Disgusting mayo + egg + garlic + onion. Blindfolded football. Blindfolded maze. Sandbag jump. Filling water bottles. And more~~! The race ended and each group took their turns to take their photo at the skateboard park. After that it's cleaning session, each group was led by one AJK to their respective assigned areas.

In school, everyone was busy writing the letters and putting into people's envelopes. Some went for shower while some were sitting and daydreaming. Then everyone changed to the purple polo shirt and proceeded with the Closing Ceremony. Certificates of Participation were handed out first. And then prizes for the several events. Sadly, our group got only 2 prizes, a plastic bottle and a metal bottle. The events and activities we won some didn't have prizes? =( And I didn't get the top facilitator award. Sigh~ I'm still wondering what qualities I lacked up till now. esshh x(. The ceremony ended with everyone(participants of KQ5) singing the songs HERO and I WILL SURVIVE. Epic moment ='/.

Anyway, after the closing ceremony, the Guests of Honour all came out along with the principal to visit our camp and camp crafts. And the student facilitators had to explain to them the structure and function of the camp crafts we designed. And I was blur and did it quite messy. I think the principal doesn't feel comfortable with it lor. From the looks of her face? I don't know eh =S.

We had to dismantle everything. They teared off my beloved gate without letting me to say a last goodbye =( LOL EMO. Anyway, I was the one who dismantled the bonfire and carried it to the burning area. All my beloved masterpieces T_T, only lived and stood for 4 days. After that I went to take my bags and signed out at the AJK counters. Almost everyone left already, the school was almost empty. Ck.Izam asked Lawrence and I to move the tables. The brown tables are FRIGGIN' HEAVY man. @_@ puasi. Went up to have a cup of coffee after that while waiting for car. And then back at home, I sat on the chair doing nothing for quite a while. Felt so lost and 'lau hong'(pancit) man. sigh~ I miss the camp and all my Yauyau's ='/ .

Kem Qiadah Stories Part 3

Day 3 22/3
We woke up 4.30am and as usual, we sat there and chit-chat for a while because of the crowded washroom. I went all the way up to the 3rd floor toilet to poopoo. I wouldn't want to suffer from stomach-ache halfway during the activity in Bt.Shahbandar today man. So yeah, after poopoo~ing, shower time! The water was amazingly COLD >.< Everyone was shouting and yelling while having their showers. LOL After shower, ANOTHER CERAMAH in the prayer room. Ugh. I didn't doze off anyhow this time, I was too excited for the race in Bt.Shahbandar. Random thoughts and strategies all poped up inside my head. hahaha~

Each group was asked to bring a bucket and assemble in the flag pole area. Next, we're off to Bt.Shahbandar. After singing the National Anthem + School Song and did some stretchings, we had breakfast there. Long queue for breakfast and we were the last group in queue. -_-"

Anyway, all groups were given 7 balloons. Our first task was to find a twig/stick/wood and tie the balloons as well as decorating it before we move out. Our buckets must be filled with water as well. The objective was to have no water spill out of the bucket and none of the balloons pop-ed/burst throughout the race. There were 17 checkpoints if I'm not mistaken. Each checkpoint had a task but none of the tasks involved Mathematics =( . Boring~. Few sceneries and portraits to draw. A pantun to form. A moto and cheer to form. A dance and song to form. Counting staircases. Counting pipe holes. Kneel down/crawl and find our way through a maze. Passing rubberbands up the stairs using straws secured on our lips. What else? OH! Have one of our groupmate decorated with anything we could find there. I volunteered! =D. But they made me look very funny. I had a bright Yellow Flower on my forehead and a pair of fairy-like wings. AHAHA. Overall, it was FUN. VERY indeed. Required a lot and A LOT of teamwork. We were the 7th group to finish the race but we don't know what position we got.

We had FreeTime when we got back to school as the muslims had to pray. I was busy writing the short letters for everyone in my group so I ate lunch quite late. Everyone changed into P.E attires and we're ready for the next activity in the Auditorium with Abang Wandy. They gave us green sheets of paper. We were asked to write our names on the paper n stick it to our backs. Then we were given 5 minutes to go around and write on people's back something good which describes the person. Wandy taught us that ' There's usually a lot of Solutions to a Problem, not just one ' . We played a simple game. Everyone was cramped to one side of the audi. We had to do something to go across to the other side (eg. walk, dance, flip) but we cannot repeat what other people has done. Yichour, Robin, Chun, Chongnam and I worked together to get across. We used the bball style! xD Where Chun, Chongnam and Yichour became the defenders. I dribbled to ball and pass to Robin and he finished it with a jump shot. AHAHAHA. Nobody thought of it except us, I guess. So unexpected right? xP.

Next on, Cooking For Survival with the scouts. Chicken and Sweet Potato. Given firewood, twigs and bamboo. We were very lost at first but in the end we used the simple method, we stuffed the food inside the bamboo and just heated the bamboo up in the fire. We mixed the sweet potato and chicken together which I think they judges liked and think it's something different. =D hehehe.

Cooking thing ended. We found an empty classroom just above counseling room for our Cultural Night rehearsal. We managed to have our moves all synchronised with the music but I don't get it why we couldn't get top for the performance. Maybe we didn't use manila cards to write some texts and show? It was kinda my fault. I KehKiang go think too much.( My thoughts : using too many of those manila cards with texts will ruin the show, people will have a hard time reading the texts and not putting their focus on the moves. Futhermore, everyone's head will go frontwards as they want to read the texts. But I didn't know the judges were siting like just one step away from the stage. -_-" ). We could've written the moral of our story and show it at the ending and I think that would be enough to get us to the top. SIGH, sorry guys ='/.

Dinner time, we ate satay + bihoon + kuayteow. Beverages were Teh C + Coffee + Red dye( LOL I don't know the name. Its a red-coloured syrup. Very sweet). Cultural Night Performance started late, behind schedule. The AJK's performed first, Algorithm Dance. Cute! AHAHAHA. Followed by performances from every groups. Ended with a song by all the teachers.

Everyone proceeded to the Audi for the 'Recall' session with Wandy after that. Lights off-ed + emo songs + emo moments. This was where I meet the song HERO. I like but also hate this song a lot. It reminded me of some stuff and made me cry, ci eh. Okay I feel so gay now -_-". Abang Wandy taught us to be grateful to parents. Friends are here to help, but I thought of something else. Something that happened in the near past. Sigh. Friends are for fuck? LOL jkjk~. Almost everyone cried. My shirt was stained wif my mucus, yuckk~ AHAHA. The teachers lined up on stage and students queue up and thank them one by one. Friends gave each other a hug. Thanks Zhi for the hug and thanks Yap for the comfort ='). I tested on something, and it was clear to me now. I know already. Oh well, can't do anything about it.

I sneakily rushed to the washroom to have my shower. Can't stand the stickiness bah. Didn't shower because of the rehearsal. And I wasn't the only one. Yap and Jeremy was there. Kifiri came in later on to have his shower as well. AHAHAHA. Surprisingly, Mr.Johnny was not on patrol tonight. Maybe it's the last night of camp and the teachers were good enough to let us do what we want. HAHA. I packed up my stuff a bit so it won't be a rush tomorrow. But when I turned and looked behind, Melvlim, Melsee, Sylves, Sheng and Chun left with their sleeping bags. Probably went to counseling room to sleep. I went to find Yap for supper. Jeremy , Yap and Lawrence came to my room to play cards. I played till half-asleep and half-dead. So they left me there alone and went to play bball at 3am!! KI SIAO!! If you guys told me you were going to play bball, then I wouldn't have slept. Esshh. Kns one bah.

Kem Qiadah Stories Part 2

Day 2 21/3

Everyone woke up in time thanks to some teachers who used the gas horn one class after another. Some people even got in right in their FACES. Ouch~ Worse than the shock of nightmares! AHAHA. We non-muslims sat on the floor and talked a bit as we didn't want to squeeze with the crowd in the washroom and since the muslim had to pray, we let them have their showers first. After shower, we went into the prayer room and the muslims prayed. Then there's a short Ceramah, AGAIN! -_-" We were all like half-sleeping at the back? LOL!

We all lined up according to our groups in the flag-pole area to sang national anthem n school song. After that, we went to the Police Headquarters in Gadong-Matamata Area, I think. Somewhere there, somewhere close to Arif's house. Yap, Sheng, MelSee and I followed Kifiri's car as there wasn't enough buses for everyone.

Reached there and we were brought to a large open field where we did some aerobics. FUN FUN!! xD! Next, We rested in a nice air-cond hall and ate breakfast. We were then divided into Groups of 6, A to F, which consists of 2 groups in a team. My group was in Group A along with the Ciku's. So, we formed the CIKUYAU ALLIANCE! AHAHA! We were leaded back to the open field again and taught how to march with all the commands in our Groups A to F. There was two sessions of it, we had a break in between. And thanks to the Scorching Sun, everyone's tanned now. Wo ai ni, Tai Yang Kong Kong <3 Apakann AHAHA random~ x) We had our lunch in the hall again after that. Nice food! xP and there was much free time for us non muslims. MelSee started the game of Hat Wars with Darlin and Mr.Chok and then everyone joined in, including Mr.Kifiri. FUN TIME!! WOHOHO. MelSee ended up kneeling down on the floor and beg for forgiveness from Mr.Chok, Darlin and Kifiri. LOL~

Later on, we were guided to one of the storerooms to get Shields and Helmets, those the police use for fighting against rebels. Cool! When holding the shield, it reminded me of RedCliff, reminded me of the unpredictable + cool strategies. We saw a 'herd' of fit + muscular policemen standing there will their shields and a red truck behind it. At first, we thought we had to fight them. I began to have some wild thoughts of using the strategies like in RedCliff. LOL! But no, we didn't fight them. They just taught us how to fight like they do. Some of us fired smoke guns, some of us threw smoke grenades and some fired rubber guns. COOL STUFF YO~ I threw the smoke grenade. With the frontline covered with colourful smokes, we rushed in like barbarians and ROARED!! hahaha. Next on, we walked to the Police Museum. Again, MORE COOL STUFF!! Besides equipments and weapons, they publish the stuff confiscated in the past as well. I like the Samurai Sword!! OMG!! *drools* And there's Mahjong and Jerami Sets also! AHAHAHA We were asked not to touch anything there as they were sprayed with chemicals/preservatives which will make our skin itchy.

It was about time to head back to school, everyone lined up infront of the bus. My group did our team cheer while waiting. YAU YAU KEMBAYAU!! x) Then we head back. 4 of us followed Kifiri's car again. We asked him politely to fetch us to Easyway on our way back and we bought some drinks. WOHOHOHO!! Back in school, we showered and change into our Red Polo Shirt for our activity at night. And AGAIN, another CERAMAH in the prayer room -_-" I dozed off several times and escaped out of the room when they had a short break. Gahh, the ceramah's were killing me. I had no idea what they were talking about, maybe just a bit.

We ate dinner at 8pm+. Everyone was hungry as hell =S. We were going Bandar for our activity ' BSB Rendezvous ', sort of like a treasure hunt. I was sleepy and when some teachers said we might not be going because it was raining, I felt SO disappointed. But in the end, the rain stopped and YAY! I was reincarnated, literally. HAHAHA became so PUMPED. Ate dinner and prepare all my equipments ; rough paper, pens, binoculars and even pin my hair(fringe) up. I don't know why but I always pin my hair during this kind of activities like treasure hunts, sprint maths, all these checkpoints race.

We arrived at Bandar around 8.40pm which was way behind schedule. So late that most of the groups couldn't go to all the checkpoints. And it was very messy at first as the instructions given were not very clear =S. We had Lawrence stalking our group with a video camera and we managed to get to 11 checkpoints out of 12. I think we were deducted some marks for crossing the road very err..barbarically? ahahah but we were well-aware of our safety okay, we're not kids anymore. -_-"

We went back to school after the activity and proceeded to our next program in the Audi led by Wandy, the cool guy, yes! We were all given an envelope, including the teachers. We were asked to write our names, class and group name on the envelopes and stick them somewhere on the wall, like a mailbox. And Wandy said " It's a good time to write to your friends what you want to tell them. " . Very Good Idea indeed. I wrote to all my group members, well almost all, I couldn't find 2 of their envelopes. Sorry guys =/. and also wrote to most of my friends there.

And then we're off to bed. Some of us wanted to shower but were all pulled back into our respective rooms by Mr.Johnny. It's hard to sleep with the sticky-ness eh, our sweat dried off. =S

Stories of Day 3 n Day 4 to be up soon =) chill~

Kem Qiadah Stories

First Day 20/3

I woke up at 5.30am, just with my alarm ringing once which usually would take a few snoozes to wake me. HAHAHA. I was really EXCITED + SEMANGAT for KQ bahh~. xP Showered and forced poopoo out so I don't waste anytime poopoo~ing in the uncomfortable toilet during KQ. Double-checked my stuff and everything, had a bite of breakfast, burnt & offered joysticks, woke dad up and then off to school. My dad took a necklace from the Altar and asked me to wear it at all times, it's a safety charm.

Reached school and quite a lot of people were there already. Went to twin Kev's and signed-in. Took my name tag out from the orange folder and wore it. Then have my bags checked like 'custom baggage check'. hahaha. My scissors were screened off =/ so inconvenient without it throughout the camp. But luckily they didn't spot my pocket knife xD.

After that everyone was directed to the Auditorium and we have a short briefing and rehearsal before the official Opening Ceremony. BIBD sponsored each of us a nice Purple Polo Shirt. *Thanks BIBD!*

After the guests of honour all went out, we had the "Ice Breaking" program where it started off with something involving our 'grouping-skills' ? eg. group by Months of birth, shoe colour. And the last one was looking at d stickers behind our nametags and find the group we had been assigned to.

We had to think of a local fruit for our group name, design + draw a logo for our group and also make up a team cheer. 'Kembayau' was the group name we chose. Everything was so messy for us because we were the first group and so we had to present at the very first. Our first team cheer was hancurr~ So we made up another one at night.
We had teabreak as the muslims were going to pray. I gave Yap and Zhi Redoxon as they were having flu. Hopefully it helped out =X. It was lunch time and they didn't prepare proper vegetarian food for Zhi, only bread D=. Kasian man. x(( But in the end, he had a SPECIAL TABLE just for him. Got a label " FOR LEE WEN ZHI ONLY ". Hilarious but pretty cool eyh? xP ahahha. Dedicated Vegetarian (y) =D.
After lunch, we proceeded to the program "Camp Craft" where we had to build up our tents and some camp crafts based on our own ideas with the given 3 long bamboo sticks and 2 coconut leaves. We were given broomstick and a piece of cloth to make our team flag as well. All went quite well for us, I guess? Cutting the bamboo took us a long time =S. And other teams actually did what I thought of doing. Since we hadn't done it, I changed my ideas so it will be original and purposely do it last so other teams can't copy. In the end, we made a multi-purpose bonfire, a flip-fence as entrance, a flag holder and a table for miscellaneous items + other purposes. Our flags turned out NICE + LAWA, LOVE IT! and we all signed on it. HEHE.

After shower, yap and I decided to wash our P.E shirt and pants just incase we don't have enough clean clothes to wear. Jeremy joined in later on. Next, we all went into the girl's hostel room where the muslims pray, to listen to this FREAKING LONG Ceramah/Talk. 2 hours I think?. My stomach was growling all the way and I kept dozing off @_@. Only till 8pm+ we had our dinner.

During dinner, we all sat according to our group, we all had our own group tables. AHAHA. Like a BIG family. Whee~~ and we had to wash our own plates, FUN FUN FUN x).

Later on, we proceeded to Audi and a professional counsellor from MinDef taught us quite a lot of stuff. Psychological stuff and Self-Discovery. Quite a lot of what he told us was TRUE, I agree!! Especially, the part where he's trying to deliver the message "humans tend to do things when they're told not to". For e.g, when someone say "Don't look behind you!". 90% of the people will actually do it almost immediately. Maybe other people don't get what he's trying to deliver la, I'm not sure. I somehow figured this out quite a long time ago and that's how I manipulate people? xP *omg I feel so evil now?* There's a lot he told/taught us. Right Brain & Left Brain Dominants. INTERESTING STUFF ALL ALONG! =DDD

Wandy, a cool counsellor, really cool and funny guy. We all LOVE him very much I must say. =D He gave us motivation "WE WILL SURVIVE" and a lot of fun. We had a warm-up dance "DANCE FOR LIFE" and some songs to sing as well. Next, each group were given a selected foreign song and was asked to go outside and form a dance within 15min. We had a lucky-draw for the order to perform on stage and I drew #12! LAST to perform WAHAHAH. But we got a very difficult song, Indian song =S. Luckily, we managed to pull it off. But our moves were stolen by other groups and they used it during the Cultural Night performance? =/ Well, it's okay, no biggie =)
Then, we're all off to bed at 12am+.

More to come~~ =)

HOHOHO , tomorrow's the start of KQ~. I'm so so SO excited. Did a last minute shopping yesterday and today. Have some plans and strategies about what I'm gonna do with my group. I'll modify the strategies accordingly when the time comes. Adapt and live with it!. And don't bother looking for my secret plans sheet because I didn't write them down. It's all stored in my head. Unless you're a psychic or have brain reading device, go ahead? xP
Not forgetting the most important thing is to HAVE FUN!! =D so yeah. And also don't worry, I won't go sabotaging other groups, I will do it fair-and-square. =)

Beach!!

Yesterday, I went Muara Beach with my godparents and godbrothers at around 5pm+. Had fun playing there. We brought Mindy along too. She now dares to walk/run on sand already! xP We brought some snacks and flew mini-kites. Then, we played mini-basketball v1.1 Upgrade LOL *see the pictures* Funny hell. Going to the beach reminds me of the community service (beach cleaning)which we MP's will be doing on the first week of May. I can smell the fun in the future already. HAHA BBQ! and more, while cleaning the place of course. But we still haven't decided on which beach to go. We'll know it soon anyway. =)

Hean's Attempt.

Chiun's Attempt.

I was bored and Melsee's advertising quizbox.com in his blog so I had a try on it and this was what I got:

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.
The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.
Your views on education:
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
How do you view success:
Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.
What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Some are INDEED true? =/ Freaky~

Awesome Saturday!!

Went LLF for lunch with Yap as we were VERY free from 12.30pm to 3.00pm. No afternoon class but MP meeting with the principal at 3.15pm. The gate was closed and locked when we came back so we had to find a hole in between the fence to get through. HAHAHA~

Then something interesting happened when it was about time to go Conference Room for the meeting. The afternoon HEP teachers called some of us for help. A girl named Rachel from Yr8B had hyperventilation? or something else? We got the stretcher from the first aid room and then carried her all the way down to Hep Afternoon Session from the top floor. We waited for her dad to come and then carried her to the car. She had caring friends and her bf was one of us who carried her. Aww so sweet~ =)

After returning the stretcher, we went straight into the Conference Room and we were too lazy to go all the way down to get our Songkoks. We were asked to write down our names and almost got called to stand infront, but luckily that didn't happen. And luckily, we got away with the excuse of carrying the girl and Haiseh warned us, " Make this the first and LAST!"

Had Chian to pick me up from school. After I showered, I brought a bunch of clothes up to Chian's place and he helped me dressed up for Arif's Themed Birthday Party at Stadium Restaurant. Thanks a lot for helping Chian~ and Thanks Mich for lending me the scarf, the nice blue scarf! =D My pants was really heavy, 3 belts and a chain. And I love my hair tonight <3.

Fun party tonight, really a GREAT one. Thanks Arif and his gang of organisers with the performances and stuff =D!! We took lots and LOTS of pictures. But we started eating only at 9pm, didn't matter much, everyone was busy chit-chatting and taking pictures including me xD. And Yap didn't turn up <_< . The moment I went in, I thought I overdressed but they said I looked like GD, my theme for the party. Feels awkward lor. But yeah, I'm kinda happy about it, don't know why? xP. Too much to say about the party, just see the pictures and you guys will roughly know what was happening ;). I'll be uploading most of the pictures in Facebook.

Will be uploading some pictures here soon as well, don't worry~ =) *DONE*

Good Night,
Hean~~
