I woke up at 5.30am, just with my alarm ringing once which usually would take a few snoozes to wake me. HAHAHA. I was really EXCITED + SEMANGAT for KQ bahh~. xP Showered and forced poopoo out so I don't waste anytime poopoo~ing in the uncomfortable toilet during KQ. Double-checked my stuff and everything, had a bite of breakfast, burnt & offered joysticks, woke dad up and then off to school. My dad took a necklace from the Altar and asked me to wear it at all times, it's a safety charm.
Reached school and quite a lot of people were there already. Went to twin Kev's and signed-in. Took my name tag out from the orange folder and wore it. Then have my bags checked like 'custom baggage check'. hahaha. My scissors were screened off =/ so inconvenient without it throughout the camp. But luckily they didn't spot my pocket knife xD.
After that everyone was directed to the Auditorium and we have a short briefing and rehearsal before the official Opening Ceremony. BIBD sponsored each of us a nice Purple Polo Shirt. *Thanks BIBD!*
After the guests of honour all went out, we had the "Ice Breaking" program where it started off with something involving our 'grouping-skills' ? eg. group by Months of birth, shoe colour. And the last one was looking at d stickers behind our nametags and find the group we had been assigned to.
We had to think of a local fruit for our group name, design + draw a logo for our group and also make up a team cheer. 'Kembayau' was the group name we chose. Everything was so messy for us because we were the first group and so we had to present at the very first. Our first team cheer was hancurr~ So we made up another one at night.
We had teabreak as the muslims were going to pray. I gave Yap and Zhi Redoxon as they were having flu. Hopefully it helped out =X. It was lunch time and they didn't prepare proper vegetarian food for Zhi, only bread D=. Kasian man. x(( But in the end, he had a SPECIAL TABLE just for him. Got a label " FOR LEE WEN ZHI ONLY ". Hilarious but pretty cool eyh? xP ahahha. Dedicated Vegetarian (y) =D.
After lunch, we proceeded to the program "Camp Craft" where we had to build up our tents and some camp crafts based on our own ideas with the given 3 long bamboo sticks and 2 coconut leaves. We were given broomstick and a piece of cloth to make our team flag as well. All went quite well for us, I guess? Cutting the bamboo took us a long time =S. And other teams actually did what I thought of doing. Since we hadn't done it, I changed my ideas so it will be original and purposely do it last so other teams can't copy. In the end, we made a multi-purpose bonfire, a flip-fence as entrance, a flag holder and a table for miscellaneous items + other purposes. Our flags turned out NICE + LAWA, LOVE IT! and we all signed on it. HEHE.
After shower, yap and I decided to wash our P.E shirt and pants just incase we don't have enough clean clothes to wear. Jeremy joined in later on. Next, we all went into the girl's hostel room where the muslims pray, to listen to this FREAKING LONG Ceramah/Talk. 2 hours I think?. My stomach was growling all the way and I kept dozing off @_@. Only till 8pm+ we had our dinner.
During dinner, we all sat according to our group, we all had our own group tables. AHAHA. Like a BIG family. Whee~~ and we had to wash our own plates, FUN FUN FUN x).
Later on, we proceeded to Audi and a professional counsellor from MinDef taught us quite a lot of stuff. Psychological stuff and Self-Discovery. Quite a lot of what he told us was TRUE, I agree!! Especially, the part where he's trying to deliver the message "humans tend to do things when they're told not to". For e.g, when someone say "Don't look behind you!". 90% of the people will actually do it almost immediately. Maybe other people don't get what he's trying to deliver la, I'm not sure. I somehow figured this out quite a long time ago and that's how I manipulate people? xP *omg I feel so evil now?* There's a lot he told/taught us. Right Brain & Left Brain Dominants. INTERESTING STUFF ALL ALONG! =DDD
Wandy, a cool counsellor, really cool and funny guy. We all LOVE him very much I must say. =D He gave us motivation "WE WILL SURVIVE" and a lot of fun. We had a warm-up dance "DANCE FOR LIFE" and some songs to sing as well. Next, each group were given a selected foreign song and was asked to go outside and form a dance within 15min. We had a lucky-draw for the order to perform on stage and I drew #12! LAST to perform WAHAHAH. But we got a very difficult song, Indian song =S. Luckily, we managed to pull it off. But our moves were stolen by other groups and they used it during the Cultural Night performance? =/ Well, it's okay, no biggie =)
Then, we're all off to bed at 12am+.

More to come~~ =)
Love,
hean
